Research at the AEBB cluster combines interdisciplinarity, academic excellence, innovation, and specialisation in the production and conversion of biomass from farming and wine production.

Its scientific programme is organised around the three links in the bioeconomy value chain:

• Production of biomass
• Processing of biomass
• Conversion of biomass into products with medium-high added value.
