By plane

There are several airports close to the URCA:

  • Orly airport (south of Paris),

The RER B (Regional Express network) links Orly airport to the Gare du Nord in Paris. Then, trains run regularly from the Gare de l’Est to towns and cities in the region.

  • Roissy - Charles de Gaulle airport (north of Paris),

There is a direct TGV (high-speed train) link between Charles de Gaulle airport (Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 train station) and Champagne -Ardenne Station in Reims. You can also take a train from Paris Gare de l’Est to Reims, Troyes or Charleville - Mézières.

  • Beauvais-Tillé airport (100 km north of Paris)

From BEAUVAIS - TILLÉ Airport, you can take the Aerobus shuttle to reach Porte Maillot in Paris (1h15) and then, reach the region by train.

  • Paris Vatry airport (70 km south of Reims)

This airport does not have a shuttle service. For transport information, contact the various partner taxi services. ​

REIMS

There are two main SNCF train stations in Reims:

  • Gare Champagne - Ardenne TGV: 8 minutes from the centre of Reims by tram with direct links to Paris - Gare de l’Est, Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) airport, Paris Marne - La - Vallée/Chessy (Eurodisney), Strasbourg, Bordeaux St. Jean, Luxembourg, Lille Europe, Le Havre, Nantes and Rennes.
  • Gare de Reims Centre : in the city centre, regional trains and TGVs to Paris - Gare de l’Est.
TROYES

The SNCF train station in Troyes has TGVs to Paris - Gare de l’Est (1h 30).

CHARLEVILLE - MÉZIÈRES

The SNCF train station in Charleville - Mézières has TGVs to Paris - Gare de l’Est (1h 30).

Train connections are dealt by the Société nationale des chemins de fer français (SNCF).

REIMS

A highly-developed road and motorway network makes it easy to reach Reims by car from Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. The city is 1 h 15 from Paris via the A4 motorway.

TROYES

Troyes is 1 h 15 from Paris and 1 h 30 from Reims. The A 26/A 5 links it to Reims and Dijon.

CHARLEVILLE - MÉZIÈRES

Charleville - Mézières is near the border between France and Belgium. The N 51 main road connects it to Reims (1 hour’s drive).

Some companies link up all the main cities in Europe.

If your town of departure does not have a direct connection to your destination, you can always get to a city nearby (Paris, Metz, Dijon, etc.).
