A welcome week for exchange students from the Erasmus program and other programs is organised by the DREDI (Direction of External Relations and International Developement) in partnership with the CIEF at the beginning of September.
During this week, the students are placed in a group of French and follow nine hours of lessons at the CIEF in order to allow them to enter university serenely.
Linguistic support, supervised by CIEF teachers, is also offered, from September at the Language Resource Center (CRL) of the Moulin de la Housse campus (Faculty of Sciences) and, depending on the semesters and the number of students, on the Croix Rouge Campus.
Each workshop is offered at the end of the day (from 5.30p.m. and 7.30p.m.) and lasts two hours. The aim is to work on all skills in the French language, in particular the oral language through conversation workshops. Language support courses are also open to URCA doctoral students and free movers students.
Language support courses may give rise to the validation of 2 ECTS credits for exchange students, once only during the academic year.
For non-URCA students
Students from outside the URCA can also take language support courses for a fee. Prices are available in the "Our rates" section.
