The DU Passerelle - Students in exile

The program is full for the next semester (January to May 2026); no new applications will be accepted.

 

The next applications will be accepted in May 2026 for the semester from September to December 2026.

The DU Passerelle - Students in exile is aimed at non-French speaking students:

- not having been able to join the university in their country of origin (baccalaureate level) or having had to interrupt their university studies

- university graduates (from bachelor's to master's) who need to acquire a very good command of French to practice their profession, take exams and equivalence competitions or partially reorient themselves to access the French labor market.

The DU Passerelle is reserved only for students with refugee status, asylum seeker or who are under subsidiary protection regime.

Students enrolled in this DU take the same courses as other CIEF students but are exempt from registration fees.



To access the DU passerelle, you must have an acquired A1 level in French (no complete beginners) and hold a secondary school diploma (baccalaureate or equivalent at least).

You must be 28 years old maximum.
