The civil liability guarantee covers damage that you cause to third parties. This is compulsory annual insurance for taking courses at CIEF.

If, for example, you break another student's glasses, you will not pay for the damage but your liability insurance will.

Generally, civil liability is included in your home insurance. If you do not have home insurance, you can take out liability insurance alone with an insurance company or with your bank. It costs between € 20 and € 50 (once a year).
