The Regional Institute of Social Work of Champagne-Ardenne (IRTS CA)

IRTS CA is a higher education institution, managed by an association, whose missions are to prepare future professionals or those already in post for the State Diplomas in Social Work, to contribute to the continuous and advanced training of the various actors in social work to participate in the regional animation in the field of social action, to help institutions in charge of social action to make decisions through advice, studies and research.

IRTS CA is very involved in training related to the social and societal inclusion of people with disabilities.

The University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA)

URCA is a dynamic pluridisciplinary establishment that develops innovative, fundamental and applied research in biotechnologies, human and social sciences, health, and digital and engineering sciences. The university actively works towards better social inclusion and opportunities for disadvantaged students.

URCA’s International Office will contribute to COM-IN and the researchers from URCA involved in COM-IN come from three research units: the laboratory of psychology C2S (Cognition, Health, Society), the Studies and Research Center on jobs and professionalization (CEREP) and the Reims Economics and Management Laboratory (REGARDS).

EASPD – European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities

EASPD is a wide non-profit European NGO whose main objective is to promote the equalisation of opportunities for people with disabilities through effective and high quality service systems. EASPD is representing around 20,000 services across Europe and across disabilities.

EASPD has more than 20 years of experience in data gathering and needs analysis, in establishing networks & developing the capacities of service providers, in the development of training materials for the support service provision sector, in drafting policy recommendations and in the management of European projects as coordinators as well as partners.

FUNDACIÓ TUTELAR DE LES COMARQUES GIRONINES (Support-Girona)

Support-Girona is an independent, non-profit foundation whose main objective is to defend, promote and develop Human Rights of people with disabilities (psychosocial, cognitive and intellectual disabilities), whilst enabling individuals to pursue their well-being, ensure their dignity and preserve their autonomy through legal protection and social support.

Support-Girona’s activities are highly focused on working towards achieving social inclusion of persons with disabilities whilst increasing their decision-making abilities with the appropriate support as well as developing community-based services.

Ergastiri Eidikis Agogis “Margarita”

Ergastiri Eidikis Agogis “Margarita” is a Charitable Non-profit Organization founded in 1979 that provides vocational training and vocational rehabilitation to people with intellectual disabilities living in the Region of Attica. From the beginning the philosophy of the organization focuses on the development of social skills, the amplification of the autonomy and self-determination of people with intellectual disabilities and their inclusion in the open labour market.

Margarita provides services to nearly 100 people with intellectual disabilities, attendance is free, as is the support provided to the service users as well as their families.

Kehitysvammaisten Palvelusäätiö (KVPS) – The Service Foundation for People with an Intellectual Disability

KVPS is a national service provider and developer that supports people with an intellectual disability and others with special needs as well as their families. The Foundation is committed to developing new innovations, which can make a difference in the lives of people with an intellectual disability and their families, and by doing so, improve the quality of life for all those concerned.

The Foundation engages in models of service provision that are person-centred, practical and of high quality standard. KVPS was founded in 1992 by Inclusion Finland. KVPS is the leading organisation in Finland providing independent living for persons with intellectual disabilities. KVPS Development Team has been developing and implementing several trainings, peer-learning and co-production processes.

Campus Arnau d'Escala Foundation (FCAE)

FCAE brings together the research staff of the University of Girona with the professionals of the local Social Services in order to generate research and training projects oriented to social innovation and intervention towards the most disadvantaged groups. FCAE also develops specific projects addressed to increase skills of professionals and users in social services, through e-learning tools, guides with practical materials or specialized publications.


FCAE has a solid experience in defining methodologies that help persons with mental impairment to improve their capacity to take decisions.
