How to contribute

All submissions must be done online via the Conftool system (here). The user must register to use the platform. This does not equal a registration to the conference.

Proposals must be written in one of the official languages of the Association: French, English or Spanish.

A user guide for registration and submission can be found here.

How to submit a symposium
A symposium is usually made up of at least six communications sharing a common theme with current data on a particular field related to one of the four sub-themes of the Conference.
A symposium can last from half a day (minimum) up to two days, depending on the numbers of communications. Every symposium must include contributions from at least two countries.
A symposium is under the scientific responsibilities of at least two people from different countries. One of them will proceed with the submission procedures. This person will have to gather all the required information from every single participant from their symposium. You may choose to have a discussant.
After the online registration as a user, the person responsible for submitting the information for their symposium must fill in the following elements:

  • The title of the symposium
  • An abstract (250 words, min.; up to 500 words) to be typed directly onto Conftool, underlying the topic of the symposium.
  • The main sub-theme of your symposium
  • Five key-words
  • Information regarding the chairs of the symposium (Name, address, institution, email)
  • If needed, the same information regarding the discussant
  • General information regarding each communication included in your symposium: name(s) of the author(s), the title of the paper and a 200-word abstract. This can be done directly on Conftool (please refer to the pdf explaining how to submit a symposium here).

Please refer to the guidelines for help with Conftool.
Only proposals that include all of the required information will be submitted to the review process. The proposals can be modified at will until the December deadline.

For proposal with over 10 communications, you will have to devide your proposal into several submissions on Conftool. But make sure to use the same title with a code number (ex: "title of symposium 1" etc...)
