Hemodynamic management and monitoring of patients with shock

This is an advanced course of hemodynamic management and monitoring of critically ill patients
Benefit of the course:

  • Enhanced Understanding of Hemodynamic Principles
  • Improved Clinical Decision-Making Skills
  • Career Advancement Opportunities
  • Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) for Healthcare Professionals

Format:

Online course with an optional on-site immersion and interactive week.

Duration:

Five sessions: From November to June with two full days every two months.

Modules:

1. Basic cardio-vascular applied physiology and pathophysiology

2. Peripheral perfusion, microcirculation and tissue oxygenation markers

Hemodynamic assessment in critically ill patient

3. Fluid therapy in critically ill patients

4. Septic shock: pathophysiology and treatments

5. Septic shock vasopressors

6. Cardiogenic shock: pathophysiology and treatments

7. Haemorrhagic shock: pathophysiology and treatments

8. Hemodynamic issues in patients with ARDS patients

9. Heart-lung interaction through acute respiratory failure situations

10. Cardiac arrest

Delivery Method:

Video Lectures (replay option), Interactive Quizzes, Assignments, Discussion Forums and a digital library including the main literature for each module

Validation process:

Through an online 2 hours-final exam during the month of June.
Upon successful completion of the course and passing the final exam, participants will receive:

  • A university Diploma in Advanced Hemodynamic Management
  • Accreditation: University of Champagne Ardenne and European.

An Onsite immersion week

Join us for an onsite immersion week dedicated to mastering hemodynamic management of the primary causes of circulatory failure. Each day will focus on a specific type of shock, featuring discussions on the latest literature, high-fidelity mannequin simulations, interactive clinical case studies, and hands-on demonstrations with hemodynamic monitoring equipments.

All sessions will be conducted in workshop settings with a limited number of participants to ensure personalized interaction with our team of experts. By the end of the week, participants will receive a certification from the scientific committee, recognizing their advanced knowledge and skills in hemodynamic management.
