Axe de recherche principal : entomologie médicale et vétérinaire.

J’ai concentré l’essentiel de mes recherches sur les Phlébotomes et leur rôle dans la transmission des leishmanioses et de diverses arboviroses depuis ma thèse d’exercice de Pharmacie (1995), mon DEA (1994) et ma thèse d’université (1997).

Mes travaux concernent la réalisation d’inventaires faunistiques, la description de taxons nouveaux d’Europe, d’Afrique, d’Asie et d’Amérique (description de 40 espèces et sous-genres nouveaux pour la Science), la réalisation de travaux phylogénétiques moléculaires et de travaux épidémiologiques centrés sur des foyers de leishmaniose et d’arboviroses.
