Research activities

- Understanding of the plant innate immunity triggered by bacterial amphiphilic elicitors (MAMPs) (rhamnolipids et lipopeptides). Identification of components involved in the perception of these MAMPs by grapevine and Arabidopsis thaliana. Characterization of the induced resistance against biotrophic and necrotrophic fungi/bacteria. Characterization of antimicrobial activities of the molecules.

- Functional analysis of grapevine and Arabidopsis genes (BIGUN, F-box) involved in plant resistance against pathogenic fungi and bacteria (biotroph an necrotroph)

- Identification of defense components involved in the perception of beneficial endophytic bacteria by grapevine and Arabidopsis
