Research activities
My research is based on approaches that integrate the study of physiological and molecular processes involved in plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses. This research is particularly focused on the biochemical and molecular mechanisms involved in the induced plant resistance to pathogens by beneficial bacteria and derivative MAMPS, and the crosstalk between abiotic stress tolerance mechanisms of immune response.
