The Vice-President for Students is a member of the Direction Team. He therefore attends University Council meetings, takes part in meetings and various commissions, and may represent the University.
More specifically in charge of actions involving student life, he or she is, together with the Vice-President in charge of associative life, the privileged interface between students and students associations on one hand and central administration on the other hand.

It intervenes in various domains:

• pedagogic,
• financial,
• political,
• research.

The Vice-President for Students chairs the FSDIE Commission.
